Create new procedure

Choose between two options:

Click the down arrow next to the New button.

Select File > New > Select from the Main Menu.
The Module menu opens.

Select Procedures from the menu.
The New Procedure page opens.

Enter an ID for the new procedure.
The ID must be unique. If you enter an ID that is already in use, you will be prompted to correct this when you attempt to save the new record. In some installations, a naming convention is used that combines the asset classification and procedure identification. For example, a procedure to Inspect Fluids for the Asset Classification Auto might be identified as AUTO-Inspect Fluids.
Any naming convention that suits the needs of your organization can be used.

Enter a more descriptive name for the procedure.
The name does not need to be unique. The ID and Name fields are both displayed in the Procedure list.

Enter additional data for your new procedure on the Details page.

Click Save.
